Had to say Goodbye to Midnight

I’m so sad to have to tell everyone that we had to say goodbye to my sweet girl Midnight on Tuesday.  The cancer had returned and the tumor was growing so quickly.  She never said a word but we knew how bad she felt.  She wasn’t eating much and was sleeping in the closet all day which was not like her.  She was 15 years old and we will miss her so very much.  We could not let her suffer any longer.

  1. I am so sorry to hear this. I joined this group after your journey began so I just read Midnight’s story. What a beautiful sweet girl. I know there are no words that will make this easier, just the hope that the memories will burn brighter than the sadness.

  2. We all cry with you, and yet we applaud loudly for this very special Warrior who defied all odds!!

She has shown everyone that “mature” kitties can thrive in three legs just fine! And even though her follownupmpath reports showed it had spread in the very beginning, Midnight paid no attention! She continued to ROAR through everyday woth joy and determination. The picture of her roaring is my favorite.

The days and weeks ahead will be rough. The void and the change in routine will hurt. Take comfort in knowing you released her from her failing earth clothes when she told you she was ready for her next adventure. An adventure where she will be young and healthy jumping and running happily in all four.

It’s been such an honor to get to know this spec little Soul. PLEASE KNOW she will continue to have a pawsitive impact on anyone starting this journey. Yes, she will always be an inspiration here! She has touched us all❤❤❤

    Love

  3. Awwww I’m so very, very sorry. I know your heart must be shattered, and in time I hope that you can find comfort knowing that not only was your girl a rock star, but that her life story will always live on here to give hope and inspawration to others. What a fighter! Midnight proved that cancer is not a death sentence, and life can be great even after losing a leg to it.

Your sweet girl will always be in our hearts. We are so very sorry for your loss.

  4. Oh no we are so sorry to read this!
Midnight was a warrior she defied those vas odds.

You gave Midnight a gift taking that leg and extended her quality of life! Setting her free when she needed it most is the ultimate gift we can give our loved ones.

Watch for signs she will let you know she is whole and pain-free waiting on the other side.

Run & fly free Midnight you live on thru all of us & will never be forgotten!

We are so sorry for your loss.

    (((HUGS))!!
