Midnight had her stitches removed today.  She is very excited now.  She is still not happy that we will not let her outside.

We tried a harness and that didn’t work too well.  Midnight just flattened out on the ground.  Will continue to try other options so she can enjoy the outdoors.  Can’t and won’t let her out by herself any longer.

Midnight is feeling much better.  She is coming out to meet me in the mornings and is eating much better.  Thanks for everyone’s support.  We go to the Vet Tuesday for removal of the stitches.  I’m sure she will be happy with they are removed.

 

After a visit to the vet Midnight is eating again.  They gave her fluids, a shot for nausea and some meds to help things move through her digestive system.

So glad she is eating and feeling better.

Midnight is home and appears to be doing fine.  She started out hiding under the bed but today has been out enjoying everyone’s company.  She is still not eating much so I plan to get some baby food tonight to see if that helps.  I have been keeping up with her pain meds and will give her another shot at 8 pm tonight.

She moves around really well considering she is on pain meds.  I’m sure she will get more stable as time goes on.  She is not having to wear the cone of shame so far.  I continue to watch her to make sure she is not licking or pulling at her staples.

She is enjoying her sisters bed.

 

 

Midnight did great during surgery and is up trying to walk around.  I went to the Vet to visit for a little while and finally was able to get her to purr a little bit.  I’ll bring her home tomorrow.  She was hungry which was a good sign to me.
