Midnight did great during surgery and is up trying to walk around. I went to the Vet to visit for a little while and finally was able to get her to purr a little bit. I’ll bring her home tomorrow. She was hungry which was a good sign to me.

Hi Midnight! You are lookin good! I’m glad you have the surgery behind you and can look forward to the healing. Keep us posted on your progress. XO Deb and Angel Bandit
YAAAAAAAAAY FOR MIDNIGHT!! Surgery is done!! She really is lookin’ good! Even though they always seem to get carried away with the clippers and always shave a boatload of fur, her incision looks great!!
Get some rest!! Midnight is on good pain meds!
Hugs!
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!
Thanks so much. The Vet said I could bring her home tonight but I thought it would be best for her to spend a night there so they could watch her. I’m sure she will be ready to come home in the morning.

We’re getting a special room set up for the sweet girl. I plan to pick her up around noon today. The Vet has sent her leg off one more time for further testing and we should get the results by the end of this week.
A little nervous about Midnight coming home. I’m sure she will be fine and will be excited to be home.
Midnight is home and purring. She is hiding under the bed so I’m letting her take her time to come out.
She is home but hiding. She is breaking my heart. She won’t even eat chicken.
First just a tip, most people wont see your comments here, they will come look once and comment and wont see your have written more. For the best help use the forums.
Please try not to get sad! That is normal for most cats to want to hide! Its best to block off under the bed so she cannot get under it. Pillows, blankets anything just so its inaccessible. You need to be able to get to her at med time. Provide a little safe spot for her you can get to her. Purrkins stayed in the closet that was his choice;) I made a make shift bed for him in there and it was his comfort area. I slept in closet too lol As for her not eating ,again common after surgery, if your feeding dry try wet food and stinker food usually helps! Tuna and salmon even the juice is good for them to get some fluids. Keep up on her pain meds. Please jump on for help and or advice ok. you can always direct message any of us too.We are all happy to help in any way possible ! Don’t go thru this alone ok! No reason to worry alone we can help guide and most certainly we understand ! We are no vets or experts, people just like you sharing our experiences of what worked for each of us as we each went thru recovery . It will get easier I promise you!
Hugs to you both
Another tip we used was baby food! Turkey and gravy , chicken and gravy its high in calories and they usually love it. Just a idea might help get here eating.
We are going back to the Vet this afternoon. Midnight is getting around ok but not eating and only drinking a little. I’m very concerned about her so back to the Vet today.
